VisionID exhibit at the National Manufacturing and Supply Chain Exhibition and Conference 2019.
This week VisionID exhibited at the 2019 National Manufacturing and Supply Chain Exhibition and Conference which took place in Dublin’s City West. The highly anticipated event was attended by leaders in the manufacturing industry like Pfizer, Kerry Foods and Dell. As expected, the event was highly successful and exceeded the attendance of last year, as over 4,000 delegates were present.
VisionID and Partners:
VisionID hosted a collaborative stand with partners Cobalt Systems showcasing the latest technologies and new generation solutions from the data capture sector. A key feature of the VisionID and Cobalt Systems stand on the day was the live demonstrations of technologies which took place. This made it very clear to delegates how they could use these technologies to improve efficiency and productivity on their own manufacturing floor.
VisionID partners, Blue Line were also on the stand, offering information on reliable sterile and hygienic IT solutions specific for the Manufacturing Industry.
Demonstrations:
Demonstrations which took place included an All Electric Print and Apply machine from Cobalt as well as a Cognex demonstration which included a Dataman 262x fixed mount barcode reader and Insight 7800 machine vision system.
Cobalt Systems All Electric Print and Apply machine enables real time print and apply of identical labels. Which allows manufacturers to print and apply labels with efficiency and speed, therefore increasing productivity and eliminating the risk of mislabelling. The machine is resilient by design offering manufacturers total peace of mind.
As a leading provider of Cognex vision cameras, VisionID also offered live demonstration of Cognex products such as the Cognex DataMan 262X. The Cognex DataMan 262X can process up to 45 decodes per second. Therefore, achieving the highest possible read rates, resulting in increased productivity.
