Background:
The Clonmel Junction Festival has just had their 18th year which brought the best in live music, theatre, street performance, comedy, visual art and food events, celebrating the wealth of talent available in Tipperary. This week-long festival celebrated local artist on the Home-Grown Hero’s strand and featured award-winning theatre, cutting-edge dancing, live music, traditional music and circus performance catering to all ages and tastes.

The Festival of Firsts:
For the first time ever and for one night only The Ruby Sessions, held a session at Old St Mary’s Church in Clonmel. The Ruby Sessions are renowned for the performances and have only ever been hosted in Dublin. This was a truely unique and memorable experience for the town of Clonmel. Showcasing the most exciting, up and coming talents in Irish music at the moment, on the night it featured a performance from The Ocelots.
